Similar to Cod fish in appearance, with lateral lines running from head to tail, yet different in terms of taste, the Haddock has a mild, sweet taste with lean white flesh and a texture that remain firm after cooking. This deep-water fish comes from the Northern Atlantic and it is traditionally considered in Northern Europe as the best fish for “Fish & Chips”. It is also famous served “cold-smoked”.
